Giant Tortoises!

I have never seen anything so big as these giant tortoises! I was not allowed to get too close. The really big ones are over 100 years old!

South America

I am in Quito now and there are lots of people! I have been performing with a local musician, singing while he plays the guitar and blows the pipes. I am quite tuneful! Tomorrow I leave at 4.30am! The Galápagos Islands are 1000km away. I am looking forward to seeing the giant tortoises :)

My favourite honey!

My favourite honey so far is 'clover blossom' honey. It is very yummy! Arianna, the little girl in the photo, gave me my very own bottle. I have packed my bag ready for two more flights tomorrow, to Houston (that has something to do with rockets) and then Quito in Ecuador. Please find out about the Galápagos Islands for me...... apparently there are animals there that are not afraid of bears. I am a little bit worried. Should I be?

Honey Quest

This morning I woke up and fancied some honey for breakfast. I saw lots of little birds eating up in the tree so I thought it had to be honey! But as good as I am at climbing trees, I just couldn't reach:( BUT I will show ambition and keep trying!

California!

Had a great flight, didn't get lost and didn't spew. Now in California and built a snowman yesterday! I am having trouble finding honey....

Auckland Airport!

I flew on my VERY first plane and I didn't throw up and I haven' got lost yet so nothing was as bad as I thought it might be:) And guess what? I was allowed up in the pilot's cockpit! Really, I was! There were 2 whole pilots and lots of knobs, buttons and shining lights. Mrs F took a photo and I will post it on my blog when I get to LAX...... That's what it says on my luggage - do you know what it means?

I'm a bit scared of flying......

Yesterday we picked up the tickets from Flight Centre. There are lots of flights. What if I get lost in the  airport? Who will I get help from? What if I get travel sick? What if I spew over the person next to me? What if there is no honey on the plane? What if I can't sleep? I am getting a bit worried now. I think I need a hug.
